The Rise of Dynamic and Interactive Soundscapes

An important shift in mobile sound design came with the adoption of game engines such as Unity and Unreal. The availability of these game engines made it possible for mobile developers to create their games using dynamic and adaptive audio systems. Benefits of this include audio that changes according to the game’s environment or needs. Factors such as player behavior, environmental triggers, or in-game events can trigger a sound or music change.
