Yet Estonia keeps appearing in conversations about licensing, regulation and expansion. Mentions of Viron Kasinot and other licensed Estonian casino platforms have become part of a wider discussion about a market that seems larger than its population suggests.

Europe's gambling industry generated €123.4 billion in revenue during 2024, according to the European Gaming and Betting Association, with online gambling accounting for 39% of the total. Against that backdrop, Estonia's visibility stands out. The country has only around 1.3 million residents, but operators continue examining it as a potential destination for expansion.
